Where are you Diane?

I've been stuck inside an olive grove (literally). Someone wants to hold their wedding there this summer and the trees desperately need pruning attention.

I don't know how much help I can be with this ID because even with the attachment (which only makes it more blurry) it looks like drippy snow cones are in the tree

Is it agreed that this tree is in the Prunus -flowering cherry- family?

If so, what about P. avium 'Schmalfelds Schwarze'?

Otherwise, P. incisa 'Oshidori' ?
They have bell-like flowers and thus the drippy effect in the photo.

Over and out - for now.

Ok, difficult one I think for everyone....which is why it aint from a distance.

Tree is located in Glasgow Botanic Gardens, Scotland.

Prizemoney of $6.00 US dollars for the correct answer will be presented to the winner at the Treebuzz Awards Ceremony next year.....sometime, possibly.

Fern leaf Beech.

I know it as a Cut-Leaf Beech, but I belive some people use the term Fern Leaf Beech as well. So you are correct. It is afteralla Fagus sylvatica. Funnily enough this tree has almost entirely reverted back to the original foliage, which is pretty sad in some ways.

Well done Easy P
