TreeMotion questions

Have some questions for you TM owners out there. I recently picked up a TM and I'm loving it!! But I have a few questions about a few things.

1. What do you do with the extra webbing?? I don't have it fully adjusted yet, but when I do there will be a lot of extra webbing that will probably get annoying after awhile. Is there anything I can do with it?

2. I'll have to double check, but I looked at the ring on the bridge and noticed there were no markings on it. Granted, its a DMM ring, and this is my first experience with one, is this normal?? I seem to remember a thread on here saying the ban on non marked rings would even apply to the DMM rings on the TM. Is this true? Should I get it switched out before competing in a comp?

1. Just tuck the excess webbing in where ever you can. It shouldn't bother you too much.

2. The DMM ring is fine. I think its a 30kN ring, but I could be wrong. It'll pass at any competition you go to.

1) Ranger there are actually some bungie type things on the leg pads that I think are meant to tuck the extra webbing into. Here are a couple pictures to help you locate them because I have had the saddle for over a year and just recently discovered them

Although I don't use them all that much because the extra webbing doesnt really bother me.

2) I am unsure on this one but as long as you dont undo the bridge it is the ring that came with the saddle and the saddle is rated...that's my opinion

Oh and Ranger don't want to derail but what are your thoughts on Mid-State Technical college for urban forestry. Did you look into it?

Thanks Casey. I found those straps and will try them out.

I too a quick look at Mid State, and want to look deeper when I get some free time. Lots of projects and papers thrown at us right now before school is out.
