Looks like a lot of touchy feely spiritual stuff so far. nothing wrong with that, but I thought it would be cool if arborists told their stories here too.

I find the spiritualists tend to overreach when making connections between trees and humans. Like the naming of constituent parts of a tree. Of course we use similar terms that apply to ourselves. Maybe an arborist can bring a more "secular" approach without sounding too technical.
