If not konjac it certainly is an amorphophallus. Named for it's flower which blooms before any foliage comes up. The flower has the odor of rotting meat and attracts insects. We have a konjac out back here NE of Atlanta but it's not near as large as the one in the photo.
Also called cobra lily, voodoo lily and snake lily.
I would keep and cultivate it. Watch for the bloom in late spring and then leaves 30 days later.
