The truth of the matter is, the burden of proof is not on a YE viewpoint. We have the truth of the Word of God which clearly explains how the earth was formed. As you examine the world around you it confirms what Gods Word says.
- Would you be able to provide evidence for something coming from nothing?
- Can you provide evidence of an organism evolving into a completely different organism?
- How can you explain the complexities of our world happening on accident? Can you replicate it?
The truth is you have no proof, and you are the ones who believe the world “magically” appeared from nothing simply by accident. And it just so happened that the earth was the perfect distance from the sun to be able to allow things to live. It’s so much harder to believe in such a magical coincidence than in a true creator.

Well, don't pray. Doesn't work. If God wants you to be sick or injured, you will be. He works in mysterious ways, like dead babies and such to teach lessons to believers and non-believers alike. Stillbirth, dead in days, all God's plan.

You replied to none of my questions because you have no answers. Allow me to illustrate where I’m coming from:
You are driving down the road and happen upon a trail that leads into the forest. You decide to walk that trail. The trail winds through the woods and every now and then opens to some amazing views of the surrounding mountains and vast open prairies. “What an incredible trail” you think to yourself. And you conclude that the trail was formed over millions of years and that the creatures of the forest somehow must have trampled it down and caused all the wood chips to lay so nicely and the nice shade trees along the way just happened to grow in just the right places to allow for comfortable breaks from the sun.
A week later I happen to bump into you walking that same trail. “Isn’t this great!” You say. It’s amazing how this trail formed here in the woods.” I look at you and say, “Oh, didn’t you know, Joe Somebody designed this trail. I have his blueprints right here. He specifically made it Wind the way it does for the beautiful views and planted specific trees along the way for a more pleasant experience. Isn’t it a great design!” You say, “I don’t believe Joe designed this. Prove to me that he did without showing me his blueprint.”
That’s basically what you’re telling me about how this world was made. It just formed on accident. Even though everything in this world screams for a designer. No one would ever believe something in our world just all of the sudden came into existence. Everything we have is designed and created. And yet, you believe there’s no one who designed and created our world.

Magical? Could you imagine a virgin becoming pregnant? A couple fish and a few loaves of bread feeding 5000 people? Turning water into wine? Parting a sea? Walking on water? Living to be 950 years old? Dead men rising from the grave? Now that would be some fucking magic!

@rico you’re missing the point. With a Designer and Creator of our world all of those examples you share are very possible and not unimaginable. However, without a Designer, it’s just not possible to have the world that we have.

So your creator/designer can pull a rabbit out of his ass and make a virgin give birth to a childt but he can't be bothered to end war or starvation? Call me fucking crazy, but it might be time to start shopping around for a new creator/designer because the one you got is doing a shit job....Anythings possible?

It’s not the Creators fault the world is broken, it’s ours. But you’re shifting off topic. We were discussing a YE and my point was it’s harder to believe in a world accidentally created than a world that was created by design.
