Took a Fall Today

Why would they give you all greenhorns? Is that some sort of punishment for getting hurt on the job?
Everyone else stopped showing up. Its crazy down here. I thought winter would bring us some applicants as the other shows in the area have slowed down. No luck. Can't find groundsmen. It's the worst I've ever seen. At this point he's just taking warm bodies.

A guy in the next town took a fall about a week ago. The word I got was that he cut his lanyard 60' up a longleaf pine. He was still alive yesterday but on life support. I know the other two guys he was working for and I'm really not surprised. One of them fell last year with amazingly only minor injuries. I honestly don't think they have any idea what a climbing line is. They will probably be sued and go out of business, a little late for the guy in the hospital though.

For a moment I thought you'd gone back to your old crew. Hope some warm bodies with wits show up.

Some time training new guys might help with the recovery though I can't imagine that's what's on the owners mind at the moment.
