Took a Fall Today

Finally gave in and went to the Dr yesterday. No broken bones, no blood in my urine. It all seems to be soft tissue damage. She gave me a muscle relaxer and a few days off from work. Luckily Virginia is closed due to snow so there's no real impact there other than my sanity. Kid's home and I don't think I can handle another uptown funk dance marathon on youtube or a "Kickin It" binge on netflix. I wish he wanted to watch adult stuff like me. We could really get into the Stranger Things Marathon but alas he's 7.

When my son was around 7 or 8 we watched that Harrison Ford movie (name escapes me) with Dr. Kimble. Daughter watched Jaws....Had nightmare. The terror!!! Wifey not happy with me.
Her (poor old) mom visited us from India. She couldn't speak / understand one word of English. (my comprehension of Hindi was about the same). Anyway, I got her hooked on watching Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, etc. I think she thought they were the real deal - like a documentary. Seemed to really interest her. Wife not amused. Story of my life. sigh.

Sorry to hear of you and your family's loss Steve. Plus get well bro!

I'd drop by my kids movie collection if you were near by. 3 boys through that age bracket so the vid collection is good... and for the most part good for adults too. Try finding Red Dog... an Aussie movie from a 2011. (yup, just google Red Dog 2011). Good for guys and their boys.

edit: movie year added

Hope your feeling better today Steve !
