Today....

The son has a new mini-x and 14k dump trailer, so yet another no cleanup job.

This basically-dead madrona over the garage, propane-powered generator and septic pump station ( waterfront people need to pump their effluent uphill, away from the Puget Sound).

Weird... they loaded sideways.

First glance, especially in a phone, may not reveal that the stripe is my drenaLine going up to a ~130' TIP as I didn't want to only rely on the 95' (measured 70', estimated the pay above at 25-30') madrona for life- support. The high TIP was only a real emergency exit. Tension on the line was unhelpful.

Put our car on a ferry once to Hatteras island N.C and when we got home maybe ten days later it looked like fur growing on the engine compartment under the hood from what I thought was from the saltwater and sea mist from being on the ship.
I couldn’t believe it maybe I had some cheap Detroit steel on my car lol

I will definitely pop the hood to see what we’ve picked up along the way!

I see blue gum eucs take off pretty hard after pruning, no matter how bad. They must grow slower there than here with so much less water. so I would err on the side of caution when considering making larger cuts, but otherwise they don't have problems with cuts up to 6"-7" here as long as they get cut when it will be warm and dry. but not to hot.

Sometimes they get flooded by canal accident or storm, soil gets soft, uproot….or break off.
