Every quote I give has a contract on the back the customers must sign, and it has a paragraph about payment. If they don't pay in a month, they get a letter from a lawyer. They don't know that I can't afford to take a day off to go to court, so they pay!

We take credit cards. It's important these days since many people like to rack upi the reward points. A $5K job is worth the points.
