Tips and Tricks

I saw this here, but haven't fully incorporated it. I seems to work well, but you do look like an idiot wrapping it around your neck. :spiderman:
He's gonna get cauliflower ear doing that.

I used to coil rope more often now it goes in a ropebag. Ohh another tip keep your rope in a ropebag not coiled around your neck if possible ahhahaa.

Oh, I keep my active climbing lines in bags. ...but I was looking for a good wrap for rigging lines or 'inactive' climbing lines. You can go pretty fast with this method, but I don't know if I can get past how goofy it looks.

It is harder to do with a hardhat on. I guess that's why it's called a hard hat.;) And, it also messes up you hair without one...notice the guy in the video has no hair.

I like the rope addiction part cause addiction loves company , or is that misery ?? Probably both ..anyhow buckets all over my shop full of rope ,I don't know man I think rather coil and hang ropes that don't get used as frequently and save the floor space . I guess I could hang the buckets , but then what's that shit right a bucket of rope hanging up, Haha ...

I have a wee rope addiction. Too many ropes, not enough bags. A very cheap and effective rope bag is a 5 gallon bucket.
I use rope bags for my "main" ropes, and I store coiled ropes in 24" long DeWalt tool bags I bought at eBay. I think I paid $100 for five of the large bags. I use a shorter DeWalt bag for my (heavy) rigging gear.

Nice Will,

My wife keeps mine pretty short too...but I can grow hair :D - I was just trying to highlight the close proximity of the rope zipping over the head. Besides, just so everyone knows, I don't really care about messing up my hair.
Can still grow some up top, just not as full as back in the 80's. :)
