Thick leaves

The one I took pictures of is at Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park in San Pedro (near Long Beach), CA. We had near freezing temps here 2 weeks ago and it messed up a lot of trees, but this one did fine!

Yea , we have those kind of trees at work and they held well w/the frost that we had at work...

They are a cultivar from what i understand .. f.thonningii ,f.rubiginosa , f. florada , and all our rhinos like it..

Can I still say that I thought it was Magnolia when I first saw it?

And, I am still wrong.

Ficus is a cool plant. Used indoors a lot.
