Other times they cut it up into pieces small enough to lift with several guys and hand loaded the whole thing. We are low tech/old school people. Once we rented a loader. I don't know exactly how this one might be done; we can drive a pickup or bobcat back there.

You havent a clue how its to be done, but you bid 9K. If there really is no equipment access, even a skid steer thats awfully low.
Whats the closest in feet you could potentially put a crane? 50'? 100? 200'? 100,000,000,000,000'???

I shouldn't have said no crane access; I guess it might be done but we've never used one before. the street is narrow. there is a tree out front.

If a picjup or bobcat can get to it, a bucket truck or AT crane has the potential to be back there as well. At least a spider lift

Not trying to argue. I am trying to get na idea of what it may take to get the job done, and what tools could be used.
If there really is no access, save for a bobcat and it has to be climbed because you have no access to a spider style lift, then 9k could be spot on?
If you are within 200' of a crane setup it can be done for under 5k.
