The Great Ape

I am opening a store in Austin, TX, called "The Great Ape- a boutique for gentlemen who prefer to spend their time outdoors". I am interested in brave folks from the tree world submitting items for consignment.

1) Are you a tree-guy/musician? We'd love to carry your CD, especially if you have some songs about trees.
2) Is your company logo so cool that your t-shirts deserve to be a fashion statement? Talk to us. All accepted items will be unique and non-billboardish.
3) Does your event (TCC, etc.) have surplus t-shirts or other items? We'd love to move them for you. If your item is for a non-profit cause, all proceeds will go back to you.
4) I've heard there's some pretty cool custom items out there (ie. custom handsaw handles). Send them our way.

Get in touch if you believe you can help make Arboriculture and Urban Forestry a fashion statement.

This boutique is walk-in only, no mail order.

For local attention; as of January 1st, if it's a rain day, send the boys over for big screen video trainings and indoor climbing gym.

Don't forget to look to your right for all the great arborist suppliers on this site. Get high, be safe.

nevic, great idea man, ill be pming you soon with my tshirt designs and my bands cd, no songs about trees, not yet at least. im not looking to make a killing on the clothing sales, my only big thing is to sell them as cheap as possible so everyone can enjoy the designs even if they are close to broke, ill get back to you about details and what nots, what i have done in the past with bmx/skate shops is a consignment contract, usually selling the shirts for 10-15 bucks and you get about 1/3 of the sale.

i need to get to austin, some of my favorite bmx riders are based out of there and some good friends as well. this is just the icing on the cake

Yeah man. I ride there bike frame and parts. I've looked up to those folks since I was a kid. Unbelieveable guys over there. I can't believe your right down the street from them. Do me a favor and go get me some autographs:)

As far as the music goes, I figure it would go perfect down there in Austin.

Hardcore, metalcore, jazz blues influence ala madlib

Nope. Not kidding. Very Tom Waits minus the talented singing. My friends are very talented though which almost makes up for my throaty vocals

At least I have the wider shoulders for a short guy thing going for me. I'm like a poormans Danzig
