T540 xp

Well ran the 540 on 2 beech tree removals today, got 1.5 thanks of gas through it. It's really fuel efficient compared to my 200's. Man it's a really nice saw, once it's broken in it'll be a bigger monster ! Lots of power and honestly would say way better then my 200's (didn't think I would ever say that!) but yeah I love it! Blow the doors off the 201 also which doesn't take much!

The feel and controls took a bit to get used to, I actually like the tech lite bar, mine never came with the bumper spike but is on its way shortly. Gonna use it again tomorrow, today was all ground work.

Just do it! mines been awesome this week, breaking in nice and a little bit more opened up.... All hardwood removals this week and is eating them up!

They are available here in the states, some just showed up at our local shop (Asheville). They're only going to be around for a little while now, then back next year, apparently. I'm trying to get the powers that be to pony up for one because we need a new saw.
 
Bob Lawrence has three. They are in Asheville. I'm still on the hunt.

I called Honey Bros. the day after I posted on here and they had just sold out (you kidding me?!?) I am on the list there and at my local shop.

When I read the post by trees4est, I called Bob lawrence and he said he had already fueled all three of them so they cant ship them.

This is getting ridiculous.

Ah man that sucks ! Sorry for your luck, week 3 for me and doing a lot of hard wood removals and it's running well!
 
Yeah, sorry- Bob Lawrence is right. I'm hoping there's still one there when I finally get the paperwork through the office.

Couple things for sure, the 540 seems to have more torque and also way less exhaust emissions which makes running it as well as the newer huskys nicer as I am sure as much as we like inhaling all the 2 stroke smoke it's way better for our health! As for a right out of the box ready to go top handle saw, once some of you run one you won't be disappointed.
 
The old 2 stroke 200T compared to the new 2 mix 201T gives about 60% less exhaust pollution !

The new T540 XP also had a 2 mix engine wich makes iT beter for the environment and more important for the people working with it !
