I can only imagine a world where a Stihl actually starts everytime...

I should post a video of how I have figured out how to start my husky. It's not pretty!

I think the big problem with husky is finding someone who can fix them and provide parts. They have killed themselves in that regard at least in my area.

according to Bailey's website they say "more due in" so I would imagine they have sold a few. I didn't call to verify anything but their website says the 14" is due on 9-5 and the 16" is due on 9-20. I'm curious about this saw but will take a wait and see attitude... just dropped $600 on a 550xp couple of months ago and the starting is a little frustrating... great saw other than that.

I read that if you rock your saw back and forth before you touch the primer, you generate enough expansive pressure to help the primer and thus load the carb. I personally don't know because my Huskies are old.

Cre, shortly after I posted that I stumbled onto a post about the auto tunes saying that leaving the decomp alone helps on restart and it does seem to make a difference... I may try rocking it also. I am impressed with it .. would love to see the 562 working but I can't believe no yanks are working the 540 yet ... would like to see some feedback. My work huskies with the exception of the new purchase are all 07's and they are wonderful. Must admit though, rbtree and holman (they don't know it) but they have corrupted my young (er) mind... thinking about porting / muffler modding my 07 372... I move slow though so we'll see.

Wow! that seems like a ripping little saw! How long is the bar on yours Wouter? looks longer than most guys (snicker snicker). That bar mounted camera angle was sweet, really enjoyed that.

dealer here told me today that the 536 electric should be in his store in November! Said the T540 is supposed to be in.....uhhhhh sometime first quarter of next year??? I'm just trying to guess why this saw is taking soooooo long to make it to the stores? problems? or strategic marketing release timing??? Sounds like everyone who has one is lovin" it though!

November, really? That would be sweet! When I talked to the Husky rep in Toronto he told me not before late 2014/ early 2015 for the 536. Let me know if it does show up!
