The dmm revolver works with hand ascender though

I've been using a Petzl Basic and a Petzl RollclipZ to accomplish the same thing. Hard to beat the weight on the Kong hand ascender. I don't think the Autolock version of the DMM Revolver would work with the Kong or the earlier version of the Basic (before the redesign that widened the bottom hole) but I could be wrong.

Yes, I don't use the locking revolver for this. Wire gate is all

Looks great! Thank you for the build photos. I've wondered why the only comparable commercially available product that exists is in hand ascender format.

Had a little time this afternoon to put this together based on @SingleJack / JBHoldway's design. I used a 1" x 3/8" SS carriage bolt along with a normal SS washer and a nylon lock nut. The carriage bolt length did need to be cut down to 3/4 - 5/8" (maybe smaller, I just eyeballed it) to get it between the ISC pulley's sideplates. The parts seem to mesh and seat well together and the pulley doesn't want to pivot (at least not yet) on the Basic. The carriage bolt head does restrict the opening between the sideplates ever so slightly but this seems to only work to keep the 11mm rope captured in the pulley. My favorite part is the fact you don't have to open a carabiner gate to get your rope in the pulley.

I wonder how that would work with RR given that it sticks out a bit further than other 3:1. Might not collapse the bird
