x2 if money is not an issue and by summer other dealers than sherrill will have this saddle...makes for more competitive pricing

I'm running both a Sequioa SRT and a Buckingham Deluxe Traverse. Gotta say I keep coming back to the Traverse - simple, reliable. There's something about the 15kN ratings on the lighter saddles that make me think twice on big jobs...
Having said that tho I wish I could use a Butterfly. 220Lb max? I've got to lay off the muffins.

Try as many as you can, Get the one that feels the best for you. If you can't do that, get one that has a lot of adjustability so you can tweak it to your style.

Thanks everyone for all the feed back so for and its great to hear back form people in the know.

Versarile - Classic by Buckingham is the the saddle i climb with at the moment. its the only saddle i've ever owned and i have found its good all around but i just feel there is something lacking in the performance. As a climber i split my days with prunning and removals.

i really feel the lack of support on big removals. at the end of those days its just painful.

Anywho, i guess i'm looking for the best of both worlds with prunning and removals.

my price range is $500 give or take a few bucks.

Oh and any suggestions on where to get one? i've been shopping around and really don't want to go through Sherrilltree. no ofence to them but it seems that they have marked up their prices something fierce.

i work and live the southern Ontario Canada.

Cheers

aint that the truth

I'm telling you, a BFII will treat you right once you have it adjusted. It doesn't even weigh a third of a versatile and gives great back support on spars.

Sherrill will match prices but Wespur and Bishop are always a good bet too. Sherrill is not the evil company people make them out to be.

Bailey's has a sale on the TreeFlex right now, 349 bucks! and our dollar is close to par ;)

Where are you in ON? I'm east of Kingston about 40 min or so.
