I don't know why, but I look at the 192 and think, "Why?"

Am I crazy here?

I had a 200t, climber dropped it out of a tree and wrecked it. I follow the same mindset as Tarzan, I use the 260 with an 18" bar on the bigger cuts.

The big reason I run the 192 is the price. The easy2start is a really neat little feature that makes starting almost effortless. To bring up the power I got tips from Roger Barnett, chucked the muffler screen, opened up the exaust hole and readjusted the carb, made a big difference.

if the 200T was 40cc's it might be worth the extra weight. honestly im a firm believer in using my climb saw for 12 inches and under, anything bigger and my ms260 comes out. pruning is more productive when you have a lighter set up and a saw is adding allot of weight so lighter is better.

This comparison has been beat to death. The 192T and the 200T are different saws. The 200T sets the standard IMO.
The 192T is primarily a pruning saw I believe. It does a lot but if one is mostly doing removals, get a 200T.
Can't comment on the other brands.
We used to have a Husky tophandle but that one got beat to death. It had a long life though.

I've had my 192 since 07. Change the plug, fuel and air filter once a year. Let's not confuse its purpose -- When it's time to deal with wood, there is no replacement for displacement. 200 is just as much a waste of time and energy in that department.

I've been using a 200 at work for about 6 months and am contemplating putting my 192 back in the full time roll, as the 200's profile, weight and balance are pretty poor in comparison to the 192 if you ask me.
Ergonomically, the 200 puts a lot of strain on the body (you will never see me one hand a chainsaw) and if it takes a second and a half longer to put a notch in a scaffold with a 192, so be it.

Same here, I've had the same 192 for going on four years and still running strong. My go to saw for pruning work and even small removals.

Never run a 200, but I've had a 192tc for 2 years now and love it. It's my go to as well. Once it warms up it has no problem getting the job done. It has kinda melted some of the cover at the muffler, but big deal, that has nothing to do with gettin er done.

I picked up an Ms170 last spring for the new groundie. Turns out it is the same power plant as the 192 but rings in at a whopping $170. I can buy 4 200t's for that. All said and done I only dislike the chain. Too damn small.
