Reg i was hoping that maybe i could get some info on an accessory for the Stein Vega.

who was behind the design and name of this accessory and do they have a good sense of humor?
my co worker got himself and Vega and that is a extremely light saddle, even with the Stein CocknBalls anchor

That things actually pretty small in real life. Personally speaking I didnt make that connection when I held it. I dont know if it comes in different sizes.

I dont actually know what its for. Or what I did with it now.

Well, then. We're all in agreement as to the phallic nature of the thing. From a mechanical standpoint, it appears to be a strap-on device.
Since Stein says it's a chainsaw attachment point, we can further deduce that a chainsaw is, in accordance with my wife's assessment, a penis extension.

Bumping this old thread... I'm interested to hear some reviews on this harness. I see them on sale right now and was considering an upgrade.

One thing I wanted to know about specifically, I see the hip D-rings are flared so they wont sit flat against the belt but will it squeeze your hips if all your weight is on the lanyard connected to the hip D's?

Also, is how is the back of the belt? It's not as ridged as the wide back on my Weaver and I was just wondering if it brakes down over time and lose back support?

I’ve been climbing with their smallest sized one since September. It’s light. The back support is more rigid than previous harnesses I’ve had (tree Austria 3.2 and Singing Rock Timber). To answer your question re Ds, I use side Ds a lot with my lanyard and they are comfortable, not squeezing your hips.

The straps that connect the bridge to the leg loop were much too short for a male bodied individual such as myself and after some trial and error I replaced that connection with an adjustable loop from my retired Tree Austria harness. Added a second bridge. Did not add any additional loops, keeps the harness light and the lower back happy (not reaching around for something on my back)

Hope that helps. It’s a great harness, feels well built. Mostly I got it because it was on sale and I hate having the same thing as everyone else (treeemotion)

Thanks for the review @Stumpsprouts but, I decided on the treemotion light. It was actually cheaper than the Vega so I couldnt help it. There's not a lot of reviews on the Vega and people spoke highly of the treemotion. I was looking at the tree austria as well. That looks like a nice saddle. Thanks anyways.
