Im pretty sure that this is not what DMM had in mind for their pinto pulley. So i like the loop setup, what im doing is putting my pulley onto my standing part of line, jamming the sheave thing in aligning it with the holes. Then put the end of the line through those holes and tie it off, bow-lin w/yosemite and a long tail w/fig8 knot on it. Then take the tail below the hitch do a square knot onto the tail of the bow-lin. The pulley makes instalation and removal easy on me and my rope. Also i like attatching the tails with a good knot and hauling my saw into the tree while installing the rope
