So how's it going, Cris? Is climbing any easier?

MB, I'm climbing fine now, though there is some pain if I jamb the arm wrong. The metal rod and pins hurts a little but not too bad.

Doc doesn't want to remove it because of all the bone that has grown around it, and they would have to cut through all the rotator cuff muscles to pull the rod out through the top of my shoulder. Forget that!

I can live with a little pain now and than, I just have to watch it.

I'm sure you know what that is like with your foot. How's that doing by the way?

The nerve damage likely won't heal and you'll continue to experience some ache associated with the injury site. I dislocated 3 toes, broke the 2nd or 3rd metatarsal of my big toe, dislocated my right wrist and fractured the radii in a fall off a roof I was sheeting 22 yrs ago. Still have aching from time to time in all the injury sites. A reminder to take proper safety precautions.

Oh well.....
