Splice Station Pics

Matt,

Here is a pic of the 3rd generation ABR splicing station. A few of the qualities and improvements over past stations include:

Tape Dispensers anchored (one inside shelf, one outside)
Scrap Disposal (center left and right of shelves)
Multiple Mounted Spool Dispensers (Can work off of either side)
Imbedded Rulers for full 8' of table
Mounted Whipping Twine Dispenser
Dual Pulling Anchors (only one in this pic, one is being replaced)
Open shelving for equipment
Mounted magnets to hold sail needles
and much, much more : )

Having the spools mounted right on the table is a smart idea, especially with prusik cord. I'm figuratively kicking myself for not having thought of it myself. I have so much wasted space in the middle table too. Duh.

The imbedded ruler idea is also pretty genius, but I think at this point would cover all the custom markings. Maybe after the next time we sand the tables down I'll be borrowing a couple ideas.
