Snow, snow go away....

we do removals for Eversource, the regional power company. not fun work, but it keeps us working.
but i have a feeling spring will be exposing a lot of 6"+ tall stumps around the town of Falmouth.....

Everyone around here is talking about how they want the snow to go away. No one is talking about where it's gonna go when the weather flips to seasonal temps. There's going to be a lot of flooding and probably some wind thrown trees.

A friend recently said, "Be careful what you whine for!"

I've really enjoyed driving my little car through the snow for a while, and it will be equally enjoyable to see its baths last more than a half hour come spring.

Being from Ontario, I'm blown away by how many guys stop working here due to some snow. I'm talking the few inches we've had down here in NJ. Hey, its winter, it'll be over when it's over then we can get on with bitching about rain and heat.....

The weather doesn't stop us but when people are hiding out inside where they can't really see there trees we get a lot less calls, match that with people getting there cc bills after christmas and winter often slows us down. While we do work in it when it comes I don't know anyone who would rather wear 8 layers and gloves over bare handed in a t-shirt to climb

Thin layers..... But yeah, The challenge is taking them off and being able to put them back on as quickly! Nothing worse than sweating in all that then the cold seeps in....

Hey all you Debbie Downers! (I was gonna say BuzzKills, but that seemed wrong here) Some of us skiers are enjoying all this snow and are in no rush to see it go away! Summer just brings blistering heat, sweat dripping humidity that makes sawdust stick to every surface of your body and biting bugs. No thanks, I'll take the winter.

Yep !
Drive is 250' long w/ large turn-around.

52" Blower (2 stage) on the back of a 36 hp tractor, clears everything in an hour.

9+ feet Total accumulation to date here in Chardon, OH. More tonight.
You can pick up used tractor PTO drive blower and plug a hydro motor onto it and run it off a skid also

So, we can expect Jeff to be starting a thread this summer.... Title: Get These Damn Dirty Bugs Off My Sweaty Butt!:frio:o_O

Finally low 40s here too! Its melting! Prob not as fast as 70° but will take it. We normally work all winter too, but dangerous and not very productive when its - 10 for highs. Then everyone pushed all the snow around yard edges, dragging through 3 ft packed snow no fun either. Ready for spring
