Snow, snow go away....

So, today was day 3 of our heat wave: only hit 91 degrees (not the 93 they predicted - darn!) and 94% humidity. Completely soaked thru my entire tee shirt by 8 a.m., sweat/suntan lotion mix running down the inside of my safety glasses (and burning the eyes), sweated so badly inside my blue Atlas gloves that I got prune fingers, leaving dirty wet sweat stains from the bottoms of my forearms on the rim of the bucket and everything else I touch, prickly heat rash around my ankles inside the ol' Red Wing loggers, some serious crotch pot cooking going on, helmet, gloves and saddle all getting king of "ripe" smelling, and so much sawdust stuck to my dripping sweaty face that I look like a panko breaded fish filet.

God I miss winter!!!
Not one to complain...but I hear ya Jeff!
I so miss winter.

Three days and you guys are whining like a hooker that didn't get paid. We begin that S**t in May and end it in October. Best advive I can give is to invest in a Halo skull cap and RainX Antifog. The Halo will keep most of the sweat off your glasses and face and the RainX will keep the glasses clear, sort of. Can't help much with soaked t-shirt, underwear or socks, just have to live with that. BTW 79 at 5:30 AM here today but cooling down to 93 from 100 two days ago. I'll have to get my hoodies out.

That's why I like living in the midwest; we have four seasons. Bad, Ugly, Disappointing and Miserable. None of that fluffy, pretty, sissy-ass nice weather to look forward to and distract you from your misery and constant complaining.

We only have three seasons here, Spring, Fall, and Hot. Guess which one we are in now!

you guys gotta work on the Cape! water on both sides, never gets too hot for too long, same with winter. just a little muggy.
the down side is its a peninsula. two bridges on, two bridges off. plan accordingly in the summer

Bring some talcum powder and a wardrobe change. That'll help somewhat. The other thing I learned to do, accept whatever the weather is, the alternative is definitely not better!
