Any time I think I'm having a hard day I remember what our soldiers have done and are doing. Regardless of our personal views, our soldiers, all of them, deserve our support. Lets remember this holiday weekend why we have Monday off. /forum/images/graemlins/icon911.gif

Yes, and their God's are blessing them too with equivalent ferver and passion ... tolerance is the answer.

Frankly, whether you believe in either Mohammed or Jesus is no reason alone enough to have a war, both can live together providing there is acceptance and tolerance. Many at the higher levels of either faith respect a man of the cloth and the dedication they have to fulfill their God's ways.

Islam is 20% of the global religion with in excess of 1 billion followers. I also believe Cat Stevens and Mohammed Ali are Muslims.

Wow just read this thread and I am a late with this comment.I dont hate islam but I must support my country against anyone who has the ability to harm us,A free and god fearing society.If some country like korea,iran , iraq or mexico has the ability to cause their hatred to become a launching point for their attacks on us with serious blind strikes like 911 well I have to take the fight to them and not wait for them to come here and sucker punch me....peace and strength.......robdog

If we're advocating killing undersirable people who cause and wish us harm, should we include the president and his cronies? Afterall, they lied about every single point that pulled us to war in Iraq.

In that neck of the woods a Cessna can't get too far off track without having a couple of fighter jets dispatched. Kind of intriguing how nothing like that happened, three times, that fateful day.
 
I posted that link NOT to stir up political issues, but to honor those who have lost their lives and support those that are abroad who fight for our freedom.

If you can't handle that and continue to voice displeasure with our Democracy, then MOVE. Go to Canada and drink beer with rborist1. He never bitches about anything so it must be all daisies there. You'll fit right in.
 
I'll assume you're replying to me since that's what you did. If you're talking to someone else you should reply to them instead.

The whole topic is a highly-charged political issue. Didn't you know that?

I fully support the troops wherever they are in that I want them to all return home safely. I don't always support why they're there and in this current case all evidence points decidedly away from the stated reason(s). If I were in charge they'd all be on their way home as we speak.

While our troops are "over there" "fighting for our freedom" our freedoms here are being eroded faster than deforested Pacific Northwest watersheds.

I'm quite patriotic but not blindly so. There are some elements of that flash presentation which don't sit well with me, but thanks for sharing the link.

FYI we are not a Democracy. Our form of government is a Constitutional Republic.

So you assume that all muslims are "fanatical wackos". It's just as fair to assume that all Christians are "fanatical wackos" or all people from Louisiana are "ignorant rednecks". It's not true and it's not right.
By the way, I'm not saying this as a political statement.
 
great show I never forget what our brothers and sisters have given for us. AS avet I thank you for the show and the thoughts with tears streeming down my face as i sit here. butch go some place eles to live because most every body came from some were else to live and give the most for ther new homes. thanks again for the thougts never forgett......
