Now what is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan isn't too different. The problem is that these people cant settle their differences and there will be extremists.

The fact that they have a religion, Islam or otherwise, is near irrelavent, but they do all consider Christians the infidel or enemy. It's their town, their choice as to who they have has a God.

If I'm fighting with my neighbour over something what right do you have to come here and stick your nose in it? You may find both my neighbour and I join together to fight a common foe. And that may be what is happening as the "accused" are forming a coalition of the defence against the "infidel".
