Silky Handsaws

I thought about the 3 chambered handle for water, gas, and oil but decided against it because the likelihood of getting a mouthful of bar oil or saw fuel would be very high.

Also pondered the idea of a GoPro mount, but had to stick to my guns as I am not a fan of the GoPro perspective.

I am in the final stages of developing a solar powered handsaw which will negate the need for a chainsaw altogether.

Something like this-
How about a chainsaw that is powered and lubricated by water? Then you can get it all from one. You know, "they" have invented an engine powered by water, but the oil companies bought the patent so nobody could ever build it...

Any chance you could incorporate an Airwick warmer, or maybe an incense burner? I really hate the smell of fresh cut wood. ;)

I must echo the sentiment to try the Sugoi from Silky. I’ve been using those exclusively for years with no complaints other than the pain in the wallet when it comes time to replace the blade. In my town there is a guy who sharpens them for a very reasonable price. I’ve never broken one and I am not easy on my equipment. I am almost always doing difficult removals and my handsaw gets its fair share of action.

Is there a way to tell if my silky was one of the ones really made in Japan cause I heard they all aren't made there and the ones from Japan last longer or are sharper and somehow a little better?
Or whatever I heard is BS?

If it came through Sherrill, it is legit. At one point they were (maybe still are?) the sole distributor for the US.
