Shin Guards

I used to be curious if other climbers wore them because I'd used to do a number on my own shins. But, I can't think of the last time I had my shins all tore up and bruised.

I must have changed my climbing style.

However, during a belayed speed climb I can see them as necessary.

That's actually a pretty smart idea using shin guards. I always look like I was beaten with a baseball bat after I climb....of course I'm pale too so that doesn't help.
