Sherrill FS hardware

I was curiuos I was checking out the adjustable friction save on Sherrill's web page and was curious what type of pulley that is they are showing. It doesn't appear to be the ART pulley. Also the clevis on the far end does that need to be load bearing and have the minimum strenght to it or what. I was just curious about those pieces of hardware on that.

that pulley is a POC dont get it. the rope jumps out of the bushing and tears up your rope. That is one of those bad buys. ALthough I hear if you use a twisted clevis it works better. Get the art block.

I still fail to understand why the rope guide needs a 300 dollar friction hitch to be effective. And how they get away with selling it like that is beyond me.

I think it's a somewhat unfriendly site, but much better than it was a few years ago.

I say go for the RG as well, I use it on 95% of my climbs!

can somebody post a pic of the art block, couldn't seem to find it on the website.

I think the pulley PUC is asking about is the "cocoon pulley". What's this thing for? (I deleted the image because it was such a large file.)

What are you talking about? Do they say you need to use it with a lockjack when you climb with it? I use a regular hitch when I'm climbing and I still love my rope guide.
