Its slow
I have no Idea what the hell I was doing up there...oh ya, being slow.

5th in AR
23 second footlock
There was no belayed speed climb


It was an AMAZING day
our best yet!
Some of my arborist familia from SOCAL even came
Jeff Deneere (sorry if I spelled that wrong) did his entire masters climb SRT and kicked its ....lots of interesting stuff happened but Im too tired to type it all up. I coulndt sleep last night so Im pretty dang tired.

1st station in the work climb was STRAIGHT out from the starting point. I thought it was a bit extreme.
Sure enough, second climber took a fall breaking a 2 inch branch and falling into a crotch. He was ok...He got lucky.
Eucs are slippery. The talent here is feirce. I trudge through it but man the new guys are really in for it because they have to make it challenging for our top contenders.

Those eucs sure do look like they would be slick. Probably good you don't get much rain then they would be like ice!

I blame the basterdized version of a vt I use.
No way I can run back on limbs with that. Safe yes. Fast, no. My goal for today is to learn the propper vt . I climbed on a swabish this morning...I found it to be 1000 times better than what I have been using. I wont dissapoint again next time....dam...DAM
