saddles

Looking for a comfortable saddle with good back support, and easy on the legs.i have master2 now and thinking about a newtribe,or butterflytwo, even a weaver wideback is looking good.sucks getting old!any help would be great.

i like my butterfly
light weight, easy on the finger buckels, nice padded back support, but then i only climb for short times, no more the 4 hours

check the archives as there are many discussion on here for harnesses and several reviews, treemotion and treeflex have long thread. this on below is a poll with great comments

http://www.treebuzz.com/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=87003&page=0&fpart=1&vc=1

there is also a POLL of who is climbing on what type and the users likes and dislikes

enjoy the trees you climb

Nothing I have tried beats the New Tribe for overall comfort. A Weaver wideback can feel nice standing on gaffs blocking down a spar but overall I find the Master II more versatile and comfortable. FWIW, More people should play with leg loop adjustments on whatever saddle they have.-Often loosening up the leg loops and adjusting keeper straps to drop the loops lower will aid comfort dramatically.

True words... try different tweeks on the leg loops, give each adjustment a week unless it's just plain painful. I like the leg loops tight on my BFII but I liked'em loose on a Master Classic. I can hang free air in that Butterfly for a loooong time... not quite so long standing on gaffs but still, it's comfy. You have to secure the keeper straps on the BFII or they slip.

Thanks for the imput,i also have a butt strap versatale which is good cabling and lighting protection.the old poll seems everybody loves the bfly, have never used a sliding system like the bfly or glide.hmm.newtribe is nice but with the center tie in,i just don't know.ultalight is looking good,i climb with some people who climb with blair saddles.keep playing with master, its a good pruning saddle if i can keep the saddle from coming down, bad belt design for weight i guess.
