Saddle help for little bro

Well, my little bro is going to be in the market soon for a new saddle, and after doing some research with Dad, with though a new tribe would be perfect for him. We just don't know which one to get him. We want one with Side Dees, and a nice back pad. Really, we don't want to go over $200, so which NT would be right for him?? He's coming from Weaver's most basic climbing butt strap saddle also, in case that helps. He also has a few questions on the NT's, but I can't post them right now, since I have no idea what they are.

Thanks everyone!

You're welcome!!!

Recreational or work climbing?

Have you looked at the Petzl Vario (navajo)?

Under $200, light, solid anchors and fairly bullet proof.

It comes in two sizes with the "small" size working very well for early-teen aged kids on up to young adults, women and small to medium statured men.

We've had great luck with it, though I'm not overly pleased with it as a work saddle.

Just a couple of cents opinion....

Thanks Rick. We tried this saddle out on him (My old saddle) and he did not like it one bit. Even though it was the right size, the leg straps would not stay in place for him, etc. It was a great harness for me, just not for him I guess.
