Rope walker

Those of you using a rope walker system for ascent, where do you find the best place to attach the knee ascender above where it is attached to the rope (chest harness, saddle, etc.)?

I connect mine to the front of my saddle, to the loop made for the suspenders on my Sequoia. It’s nice and central and about the right height.

I connect it to my chest harness. When not in use, it wraps around my back and clips into a small accessory ring on my saddle for quick redeployment later in the climb. This also keeps it from hanging down and taking up space on the saddle.

Left side bridge rigging paw. Keeps everything aligned on my left leg. A lot of the time I will leave it connected and just forget about it.

I've got over the shoulder "suspenders" that prevent saddle shifting on a not skinny guy (or heavy saw) and hold in my coat in freezing weather so I stuck on a small loop with a tiny prussic fine tuner. hangs right about at my diaphragm. It has a plastic (read breakaway) S double biner just over an inch long to tend my wrench/hitch and also lets me hook my knee ascender there. Keeps the pull inline with the climb line and since there's plenty of bungee the extra preload perks up the knee ascender. Hook ascender to leg loop strap when not in use.

Mine is homemade, and more compact ON my harness than a HAAS/ similar.

I run a doubled bungee over my shoulder to the rear of my harness (right shoulder/ attach to rear, left of the harness belt.
