Rock exotica Transporter

I have a stiff biner on my climbing saw....

Put the biner on the saw, take a short piece of prussic cord or the like, weave it through the empty spaces, wrap that with a couple layers of electric tape and you're good to go. I can easily take it on and off with one hand, I love it.:asadito:
Can you post a picture of that

Zero unintended locks on Transporter. You push a button and slide to lock/unlock, very positive.

Not sure on caritool. I bought one of each size used one a bit and had it snag a branch or two. Second one snapped it. That was it for me.

I have my shembiner on an onyx but I have little to no rotation while wearing the saddle but it seems a little loose when I'm not wearing it

Shembiner on an MCRS. I wrapped the red paracord around one of the web rope keepers and tied it off. Coated it (red cord) with shoe goo and it stays put. Think oldfart showed us that. Stuff will catch on the Shembiner at times but I think it is a good trade off for such easy on/off with the saw. I use the springy lanyard. Love it.

Mike, do you have a pic of the Shem on the MCRS?

I went from a singing rock porter for my saw to the Shem biner and will never look back. I bent the hell out of my porter with my 441 on my hip and broke the gate. I picked up the shembjner because of it's easy on/off racking and can say it's one of the best Investments I've made. Easy on/off racking with a lanyard . It does get hung up from time to time but never on my bridge ring or carabiner on my RR or Zigzag.
However I still use the porter for racking gear , ropes, pulleys, Omni block etc. and I love it.
Overall I think the shembiner is the best option for the money, I'm interested in the XL version they have out now

I am scared that the larger opening will ruin the way that it virtually never hangs on anything large enough to hold you up. I base this on nothing except for my experience with the regular one and a little bit of thinking.

Biner on the lanyard attachment spot in the saw. Just play around with it, I can slip that thing jn and out of a caritool one handed in all kinds of positions as fast as I need to.
It's a motion like in the video clip shown

Thanks Mike. Clever idea. I may move my Trasporter adjacent to the one on my left and copy your idea. Or I may save the shem for another saddle.

I think the XL shembiner would be a good choice if you like clipping the saw by the chain brake. If not then the regular would more then suffice. I'll pick up another one when I need it

That ring underneath the shembiner... that's not just a ditty ring that comes with the harness , is it? I have seen it on some MCRSs, but not on others. What is it? Where'd you find it?
