The number one lesson to take from this clip is "think ahead and get good body position relative to the cut".
He didn't need t o put himself in harms way. You can see where he had just cut three limbs off.
He could have easily left subs on the two horizonrals to stand on and taken a wrap on the upright with his lanyard and he could have made that cut without a care in the world.
It's hard to understand exactly what he was thinking or how everything was laid out, but he did not need to be straddling a large limb below the cut. That has to be one of the worst positions that should be strenuously avoided.

Wow .yetyetback on treebuzz after at least 3years ...5 minutes In I see s plus 3 letters and f + 3 and wonder why the trimmers haven't evolved (progressively), but find the laws of thermodynamics has taken hold on more of us.
