Redwood climb.

Richard, that looked like some natural triangular bracing of two limbs into that reiteration. I love that stuff (if that's what it is). If it isn't, I still love it. I've come across two trees recently, and each had limbs that fused into another and then lost the connection to the parent, so there were deadwood stubs sticking back toward the previous attachment point. Really wild.

I keep hearing and seeing so much about the West Coast trees. I really have to get out there.

yes one of the reiterations still had the separate branches d largest had completely grown together into a triangular support, amazing stuff. Yes let's get a group together of buzzers and plan a trip.
 
Sure this or doug fir in Oregon. Both are fantastic climbs with beautiful forest in the 270' plus range. But as we see, it's not about numbers. Or costa rica or the amazon of Ecuador. I know where to go now and enjoy doing it with others.
