Rayco rg1625

I was wondering if it is possible to take an older rayco rg1625 and replace that unstable single wheel with that of the new models having the dual steer wheels. If so does anyone know if this is a kit or add on available through rayco or if this would be a project. Any information or thoughts is appreciated.

Wow I think I still have a whole frame from a RG1625 laying around from when I made my first mini stumper

out in the weeds and covered with snow I bet, could be just the ticket you is looking for

I would agree with you both but I work full time at a company and do some moonlighting in my spare time with low overhead. So a 50+ hp machine isn't really logical and had been looking at smaller units and found two nice 1625's but they just have the single steer wheel. So for the amount of work I do on the side I can't justify buying a large machine.

and there lies the crux of the problem..
you can't "justify" a larger machine... so you get stuck with a small POC and beat it and yourself near to death to get the jobs done.. you won't be able to compete with the prices of companies with larger machines, so you'll be in low productivity... low profit cycle.. it'll be a struggle...

Beats working at the car wash though..

Wow Daniel. Tough love. PUClimber is looking for a part and you tell him what's wrong with his way of business. I supposed he should thank you.

The guy Down the street from me runs a SC222 that he's had for sixteen years. It works for him and his market.
