R.I.P. Petzl microscenders?

Where have all the microscenders gone? I wanted to try a variation of the double bungee ropewalker system with something toothless, and had a hard time finding any of the midline attachable microscenders. Petzl only shows a newly redesigned midline attachable Rescuscender.

It appears to be a discontinued item. Not available on Amazon and one other site I checked.

THESE FOLKS MIGHT STILL HAVE SOME IN STOCK, BUT YOU BETTER ACT QUICKLY, IF SO. ONCE GONE, I THINK THAT'S ALL SHE WROTE.

Here's the link, sorry for shouting.

Thanks @TimBr, that is where I got two from on separate orders. The second one appears to be the showroom demo, as it had dust and numerous scratches and dings, and no literature or Allen wrenches that the first had. I contacted them about the condition of it, they said send it back and they will send a replacement. Either they have more in stock and I for some reason got the crappy one or they planned on reordering more. They may not know it is possibly discontinued.

Years ago I discovered a welcome fix for the broken cable Spring/tether

Take a small diameter piece of strimmer/weed whipper nylon as a replacement. You might need to scrape the diameter alittle to fit the hole.

Mine have lasted years. So long that I would say that this is a 'lifetime' fix.

Nice idea, thanks for that. I stopped using mine at some point because I found it to start slipping on my rope; I just couldn't rely on it to hold my weight on an SRT setup. I switched to a Gibbs style ascender from CMI, I think it is. No problems with that item.

Mine, very well used, with the excellent Tom Dunlap weed wacker string mod. Thinking of repurposing it for a quick RADS, I'm using RADS more and more as an adjunct to my multicender systems.
