My grandchild calls this the tooth faire tree.

she has a loose tooth, came in from swinging on the rope swing that i setup with a flower from this tree in her hand, with tears, saying she lost the tooth, dang, i am watching her and she booboos herself, she puts the flower in my hand and starts to laugh. JOKE on me

nope - not a laurel - it does have little flowers on the tips and is in bloom at this time

when big - they get about 20' diameter and over 40 foot

maybe flower here - maybe tree
