sad part is , of all the sh*T THAT happened from that storm, and that Hemlock was all that . Crazy , that was a quickie , all I saw in that video was silly. That storm created way more havoc than that , that video was homeowner sh*t. Good luck Daniel , shame on you , and your bullsh*t. Thats the work you got out of that storm ? really ? fchaps ! PPE! there was some real problems out there , shame on you for down playing them . Joke , and you people wonder why I don't post pics and videos , crap like this , joke . Grow some balls Daniel , stop acting , this ain't broadway ! Real is out there , it's there ! , fkn joke!!! That was a bad storm . People with time for a camera for stupid sh*t had no work . None !

If you think that was a bad storm, then you've never seen one!
The rain fell straight 95+%... my power went out for 5 minutes.. NJ & NY might have been hit hard, but Sandy wasn't even what Irene did last year around here.

WTF are you Riggs? You're one generation off the porch in Deliverance and you think you know it and seen it all in the tree business. .. all you do is get smashed and talk crap... You're an arrogant little drunk to think that's all the work I got out of the storm...

Common sense goes a long way... This was a quick and easy cut, shoot and edit... Been working 7 days til dark.. not much time for making videos, but I thought this one might be of some help to the guys out there, with all the leaners from the storm..

You ought to learn to STFU, like you said you would.. Guess the old man never taught you much about integrity. He did a much better job of teaching you how to get fall down drunk though huh?

Speaking of integrity - Will you answer my question about why your website says you are a certified arborist, but the ISA's website doesn't list you as certified?

I could give a sh*t about you not wearing PPE, that's the way of the Grizzly Man. You need to be able to videotape your demise, so everyone else can say "I saw that coming from a mile away" - and you would be all " I AM 99.9% sure I can get away with this one more time".

Dadio, you are a joke, wrapped up in a mystery, dressed in a clown suit. Honk honk goes your big red nose.

Daniel puts his rep on line time and time again.

I do the same things but a bit differently.

Riggs, who the fu@k are you?

Your meandering jiberjad is hard to read,I glaze over your posts because I think you are retarded. Rethink the way you post and you could be considered realistically.

The cut is popular with homeowners and pros and it's one of the best opportunities to get wacked. A safer and slower direction is to do downward cuts and pull the tree back away from vertical with a leash. Put a rope on the top and let it down smooth.

How's the storm work going? Some guys must be getting burned out by now. What kind of hours are you putting in?

After watching it again I seen the plunge cut was pro fer sur. I'd just cut from the bottom up if it was a quick and dirty job, let it barber chair whatever. Then hopefully the tree will react slower and give you half a step more to back off.

PS quick and dirty = someone getting hurt

I get the bore cut in that situation. I like to bore cut my bottom cuts, bore in through the bottom and then do the top cut. I have an f'ed up back and making bottom cuts bothers it so I've been bore cutting the bottom cut for years. For me it's about working with gravity as opposed to against it.

A bar pincher could be avoided with the plunge as the direction of force is sometimes unknown. I like to do a slow cut and feel for the direction of pressure. Some of those cuts scare me more than high voltage. If they're going to spring I should tie them back more often.

I sometimes use a face cut and back cut with these compressed trees. When you have a somewhat predictable force that can be directed it works well. And you get some indication when it's not working so you can change it up if needed.

I had one I barely cut the bark on and she released. Had it tied back but not for the direction it went. Of course after the cut it was all obvious. Actually I was rushing and ignored the heavy bend in the tree that was obvious as well. That one needed the pressure to be released at the stump. I went for the eavestrough cut with the top tied to protect the roof and me. The lower part I was clear of by positioning. The top was close to balance tied so it spun over my head like it was trying to kill me. It would of been safer without that rope and just cut and duck using the building as cover. That had to be my closest call and worst f'up. Ahh that feels better to share. Must be Sunday morning.

So is he either a Certified Arborist of criminal fraud?

Whats this thread about? I will call the ISA tomorrow, nothing, and I mean nothing would make me more happy than bringing down the shat on ol Dadio.

Truth is as well, if he is a CA then no one has the right to badmouth him on that matter, I would hope the ISA just made an unfortunate typo.

playing devils advocate but is it possible to be certified and they only post dues paying members?

This is why I asked the Dadio before calling the ISA. But, he's a douchenozzle, and never responds to me.

You know you post some pretty funny stuff, and at first you seemed like a good ol boy. It turns out you are one of the most qualified, knowledgeable guys around! (I did a bit of research).

It is refreshing to see and read someone that is so knowledgeable yet down to earth.

Congrats on the BCMA, what an accomplishment! Keep the hits coming man!

I miss the old smedium Stihl sweatshirt, I wonder if you hulked out of that while being videotaped. That would have been cool . . .
