Nicely sums up your system. The "rubberized" hitch and Quickie could definitely bring me back to the HH, especially like how vertically compact the system is.

Video production note: It's always challenging fiddling with sound levels when you're editing, my approach would be to increase voiceover volume and reduce the live climbing volume. Picky me ;-) Great work.

I tired numerous times to get the volume right and finally just put it out there. I'm out of town and ended up just using the laptop internal mic and adjusting both volumes to the min/max.
Thanks though and I know what you are all saying. Maybe I need a new laptop.

Cool idea for putting something on there to stiffen the hitch, but if that's the 10mm beeline that came with the hitchhiker, its on the bottom of the list of friction cord IME to be paired with Bluemoon. I run the hitchhiker on Bluemoon full time, almost exclusively SRT and found 8mm ArmourPrus to tend the easiest and bite instantly, break easier and descend smoothly.

Just ordered the rubber tube to do just what you demoed and quickie to add to my be just like Richard pile. Now to find the squeaky gloves oh wait I have no desire to have them.

Ok it's a HH2 and i used a quickie instead of the biner. With the biner I was able to attach the eye to eye teather that treestuff sells. With the quicke there was no obvious way to Attach my teather! I tried some throw line and ended up compressing one of the detents not good. Hope that makes sense.
