Powers spur scender

I am waiting for my machinist to call me when he has the plates all finished up. Should be soon. So all who are waiting on me for your order, just bear with me and I'll have them out ASAP;)

Mike these look great. Are you advertising a price for the set?

Thanks! So I have the Powerscender and Haas/Saka attachment point set up for the Climb Right Aluminum and Buckingham Steel Climbers (I believe the Titaniums are the same as well). If you have the buckinghams, it is important we make sure the hole configuration is correct (the older versions are different). That hole configuration should looks like this:

Usually, whoever wants the Powerscender will first buy and ship a LEFT CT foot ascender to my home. This will set up the spur-scender on the RIGHT spur, orienting it out of the way and towards the heal. If you feel like you'd like it facing forward, we can work that out as well. Just let me know.

For those who haven't seen the finished products, they look like this....

PM me if interested. Thanks :guitarra:

Mike it may be in here somewhere but....do you also make them for the Klein Steel Climbers?
Not as of right now, but anyone who wishes to have something made for their spurs that is of a different brand than I mentioned, has the option of sending me their spikes and I'll build new plates for them.

Thanks Mike I'll get my ascender on order and send the whole mess up.

Has anyone had to switch from poles to tree gaffs. Basically does it interfere at all. I can't see how it would but I figured I would ask. I have both but usually have the poles on.

Aaron, make sure that the configuration on the Buck Titaniums are the same as the picture I showed above. I think they are, but just make sure
Mike I'll check before the final go head . Just a heads up I got my southpaw footie , I'm going to give it a whirl climbing that way for a few days and make some desicions on which foot I want to stick with . I mean shit my right leg might be getting bigger than my left after all these years with right footer , I may need to even myself out. :loco:

I should start a new thread out of respect to Mike...but the spikeascender is really working for me...I like it how it kicks out when I want it too...like my pantin...
Pfft. Talk away. I could care less : )

The KK set up does look pretty slick. Swing, how does the ascender itself perform?

Works real real good, never kicks out and is so very neat...love the damn KK's bad ass ....best spikes I ever owned and I have had a few now...even carbon Distels....sold them quick because they were so thick in the foot bed and did not care for the shank shape....

I'm still trying to work on my foot positioning on mine. The ascender kicks out constantly on me. If I can't get it rite I'll go with the powers. I'm trying your pointer swing, toes down. Just feels funny to me!

I guess when I first started using a pantin, I had some good tips...never had a problem since....the spikescender is designed the same way so it really works for me...keep at it Steve....

Hey Mike. I'm left handed and my left foot I've discovered is better for balancing myself than walking up a line. Couldn't believe I was that awkward balancing comparatively with my right leg ..best to keep pumping it up the rope I reckon. I did like two climbs with the left footie it was funny.. been busy so its time to mail it to you . Had lots a jobs lately where spurcender would've been legit . I'm 99% sure I'm new style buck ti with round hole configuration . I will double check .
