Power lines

Maybe its time to bring back and old device that hasn't been used for years. Its called a wig-wag, and was originally designed for air brakes. Whent the brake air pressure was low, a aluminum arm swung down in front of the drives front windsheild.

In todays trucks, the device could be manufactured to be run electrically and activated when the PTO of the truck is engaged.

Most PTOs don't run well at speeds higher than a high idle, so if you had to drive with the PTO on, you would need a spotter.

There thats my contribution for Thanksgiving, someone can make a fortune off it! Happy Thanksgiving, pay attention and get home safe!

Mark,

You are alive because you kept a safe working distance, and generally plan for the unexpected. We can't anticipate everything that can happen. The more we guard against what we know can happen in everday work practices, the better chance we'll survive the unplanned events like you did.
