Yes but have you got the 4000' vert to utilize the meter?

Probably can´t match your conditions but I´d love to come over and try sometimes, I´ve got family in Salt Lake so maybe I´ll come sometimes. Within the skicenter longest downhill is 2500mtrs with 700mtrs fall. Longest offpist is 1km with 500mtrs fall. It´s been snowing all weekend so I´m going up tomorrow and have a ball.

Hi Rupe
In the skicenter I snowboard, preferably off pist. Occationally I go for hikes in the mountains with mountain/telemark skies, downhill then I Telemark. Cross the pond some time. You can find info about Voss at http://home.online.no/~sulvund/Voss_Now/

Cool. I first learned telemark/mountain/cross country skiing in Svaavlbard (sp) and the Lyngen Mountains in the North of Norway, then did some more in Alaska. All a long time ago now though. If I went now it would be snowboarding, but the wakeboarding is still going well due it being so warm here, only had about three days of freezing weather so far this winter!

I'm in cheltenham, near Gloucester about 40 miles north of Bristol.

Just got home from wakeboarding and I think it is getting a bit cold now!

If only I had your faith. Going on two years without a winter.

Almost febuary, forsythias blooming, dafodils busting out of the ground everywhere. And no SNOW. They got some snow in Malibu the other night though. Maybe i should move to southern California.

Went on rugby tour way back in 85 and played Clifton and Stroud. We hosted both of them back in North Cacalaki as well. Very fond memories. I still stay in touch with a couple of the Bristol boys- life time buds.
