Nothing epic but we had some interesting jobs in 2012. Working in NC is nothing like working in Calgary. Each has its unique challenges, but I admit I feel pretty much like a rookie again.

This one was removing two very tall sweetgums that had destabilized along a stream bank and were lodged at about a 45 degree angle in a bunch of other trees. It was about clearing the limbs bit by bit to relieve the tension..like reverse pick-up sticks.

Nope, my mate up in the tree ripping the 338 while I was doing the rigging work and some delimbing with the battery powered saw ;-) made some pics in the meantime and this one was perfect ;-)
