I think that showing up for bids wearing your harness shows a certain, shall i say, jen e' se qua. I don't think i will be attending the home coming dance due to 40" of fresh snow that needs tracked up. Please have fun and be careful on the "royal marines" training swing. I hear bongo the ape boy was in town for turkey- did he put in a shift g-manning some logs and brush around? Warm personal regards, skew

Yes, Bongo Boy was here, but unfortunately, as a semi-successful tree man, I was too busy to free up some time to hang out with him.

Thanks for the warm personal regards, and be safe out there messing up the pristine powder.

Seems to be alot of interest in the Petzl Sequoia.

Last I heard, maybe it will be available after the first, but not later than the middle of next year.

I get the impression that companies are having a hard time with Customs and importing stuff while keeping the cost reasonable for us in the U.S.A.

The dollar dropping in value has effected the price of stuff imported here ALOT.

True, but it helps the US manufacturers export more.

I have a sequoia. I am going to outfit it this week and give it a go. Has some similarity to the Treeflex from the looks of it.

Does anyone know if there is a dealer in the UK selling this harness, and if so can they offer the different bridge sizes?

Thank you

Gary

Anyone? Are there no British people on this forum? Where are all the British climbers? Is there a British forum I don't no about and all the British people are there and not here?

Thank you

Gary

We just ordered two saddles for our climbers, one is a Sequoia and the other is a Tree Flex last wk , the Sequoia belt won't be in till late Feb., Both belts were bought from Baileys. Sorry, Sherill,we usually buy all our stuff from your company but since you don't carry these we had find them somewhere else. I am still however, a loyal Sherill customer.

Later from SO-CAL

I know sherrill has them on the site, "expected soon", but I was hoping they would be a bit cheaper than that. 345.00 for the srt just seems higher than I expected. Anyone been looking around sites other than sherrill and wesspur and such to find a cheaper price? Industrial supply sites possibly? Definitely intrigued, I love the design, cant wait to get my hands on one, price willing.

I heard middle of Feb. on the Sequoia....Bailey's will have a big shipment coming in.

Rumor has it that the Sequoia will have (included) the large Caritool that has been long awaited!
But that is just a rumor

This saddle is interesting, I have the tree-motion saddle, and i love it, the petzl sequoia is interesting however, the rope bridge doesnt look like it can be replaced from the picture, or can it ..
