Well, anyone else fall in love with this new saddle from Petzl?

Any thoughts on who will sell it first and who will have the best price?

Either way,I will probably be first in line to get one.

My crew came back from TCI with acatalog insert of this saddle. It looks sweeet! I'd probably get the SRT model jus to have the extra attachment point, but on the other hand the bsic one might be more adjustable for those with a onger rise. Did anyone see prices at TCI Expo?

I looked at the saddle and it's in the new 2008 petzl catalog but I didn't get a picture I might be able to scan one tomorrow and get it up.

It was a pretty saddle. A lot of thought has gone into it, and the Petzl display giros were great.

Very breathable back pad.
Interesting rings that open with a grub screw.
Fixed front attachment for Chest ascender and sliding D options.
Adjustability options to waist and leg risers.
Seems a big improvement on the variobelt.
Not sure about sizes.
Standard above waist design, with a very stiff lumbar panel.

I was quoted $297.

Patience Dude!

The Expo was teh product Debut! meant to show it and get people all excited. The new catalog they handed out is thier TREE CARE EQUIPMENT Catalog

Here is a PDF of the pages showing the sequoia.

MSRP is $279 for the c690F0 and $299 for the c69CF0

Petzl had them at their booth, Northeastern Arborist had them and so did a couple others.
