WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PACK FOR GOING INTO THE FOREST AND SEARCHING FOR NEW CLIMBS? I PREFER TO TRAVEL LIGHT BUT IT SEEMS I END UP SHORT ON GEAR FOR SERIOUS RIGGING IF I ONLY HAVE A DAYPACK ON.

i have a small eddie baure back pack - durable and easy to fit most of my gear for trail climbs
in that i can fit a 150 ropr, harness, helmet, with two webs, 4 biners, gloves, 1 cmi pulley, my laynard, 2 split tails, one pantin and an ascneder - IF i need more room i wear the helmet and harness on the hike
also a petzel light =, knife and water
some of the guys i climb with have wally world camo packs that are nice.
