P90x

Been doing P90 now for over 3 weeks, starting my 4th. In addition to climbing everyday I also run 2-3 times a week.

I love the program. The workouts are hard, especially the first two weeks, but are already getting easier. I've noticed a difference in my climbing already. The fine twitch and 'power' moves are easier!

I'm excited to see how I feel come the end of March.

I absolutely recommend it, worth the money.

Just use the dvds and get some good dumbells, something to do pullups with and push up bars.Chocolate milk as a recovery drink.

Moose,

It took me at least the first 2 or 3 weeks to get into the routine. I was doing the diet as well and it takes a lot of time preparing all the meals working out and keeping up with your normal life. Once you start, you'll be motivated. You feel results quickly and see them within the first 3 weeks. I'm getting ready to start my 2nd round this week or next.

My work out area was about 15' x 15' but it would def help to have some more room.

Good luck, sure you can do it.

starting my second round in like 30 min with the wife. can you believe i weigh 225lbs!!!!! They call it happy fat and i shrank 1/2"...... wtf!! im not so happy with my fatness and shortness whick i'm blaming on being fat normally i'm 205 ish and an in shape 195. jump training starts tomorrow (i want to be able to dunk by december)

I read somewhere that you loose a half inch of your junk for every 30lbs you are overweight! The fat hides it. I'm skinny as a rail so I ain't hiding nothing. That should be incentive enough to loose weight. I need every millimeter I can get. I could imagine loosing any. I've been wondering about the x program. With the positive feedback I think I'm getting it.

got the dvds in the mail yesterday. am I missing something or do I just do 1 dvd a day until I go through them all then start over and do it aain

cbugg,

You should have received a few things with your order. The booklet of DVDs, a receipe cook book and another manual that describes the work outs. You can choose classic, doubles or lean. With that work out manual you can decide how you want to do it. I believe all 3 are at least one work out a day. Sundays are normally rest and stretch. I would try to stick to one of their 3 ways because they're all designed to work on top of the next.

Hope that makes sense! I'm not a pro so I'm doing it again. Started last night.
