I might be buying a bucket in the next few days and came across this one:

1997 ford f series with 8.3 cummins 7 speed trans air brakes 139 kms. 7700 hrs . Bucket is hi ranger xt5. Overcenter with current dielectric extra capacity dump body with lots of tool cabinets

Anyone ever used something similar? Opinions? Is it just me or does that seem like alot of hours?

Thanks!!!

The mileage to hrs ratio tells you that the bucket is very well used. If you can visit the crew you might by the truck from and watch them work you will learn a lot. How a tool is used is more important than how much it is used.

Have an engine oil sample analazyed. My truck has high hours yet the owner let me take samples before buying on two oil change intervals and they analysis came back the engine was good as new.

I use blackstone labs.

I agree if I only had one bucket it would be a rearmount only problem is finding one without paying an arm and leg, we have two rear mounts 1 LR3 and another rearmount hiranger elevator
